I want to see how the different gessos i have reflect color on canvas so i can more accurately mix my beautifully colored plastics.
I have:
3 kinds of gesso - translucent, white, and black
6 blank 6x6 canva (plural for canvas)
Phthalo blue (cool)
Crimson (warm)
Basically I want to see how both a warm and cool color react to the different kinds of gesso that I have. 2 canva per color and gesso.
This study isn't yet complete--I still need to add another coat of paint to really see the results I'm looking for. I'll add the results of this analysis when it's done. Also, this pic doesn't accurately reflect what these look like right now and that's intentional. I want to have a solid record of the information I'm gathering for the future that I can refer back to in the post I'll make because I'm going to use these canva for different projects so they're not just wasted and sitting there. Or, actually, I might keep them for reference. I suppose we'll see!
